Hi there, my boss has a MacBook Pro that he uses Parallels with and recently for some reason, whenever he runs Parallels, he can't use ANY ports, USB, Firewire and Expresscard Slot. Does anyone know how to fix this? The ports work just fine on the MAC side so it's not an overall MAC issue. It's causing major problems especially cuz he can't use his expresscard to access the internet when out of town...
    thanks

You can select what to do with devices that are inserted into USB ports. When Parallels is running that devices can be automatically connected to the Parallels or you may connect them manually.

To change the Parallels behaviour you should open configuration editor, go to USB controller tab and in Connection options select Connect to Mac OS X.
