Okay, so I've spent an entire day of my life chasing a completely different problem (not related to this post). I've got this really bizarre double mouse click problem (one mouse click = two mouse clicks) in Parallels that renders my engineering software 100% useless. Eventually, I get support on the phone. We speak for about 25 minutes. I'm left with instructions to create a new VM. That sounds great - however after he hung up and after I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 - I come to find that the internet connection is EXTREMELY SLOW. To continue with troubleshooting I need to download my engineering software (about 1GB). But, the front page of Google takes 5 minutes to load. Yes, you read that correctly the front page of Google TAKES FIVE MINUTES TO LOAD. It'd actually be better if I had zero internet - then you'd have something to troubleshoot. But, no, not with Parallels. It's always this sideways crap. Now, I'll probably have to wait 24 hours to get tech support back on the phone. I really have come to hate Parallels.
