Hi, I'm about to test Parallels Desktop for Mac 3.0 on my Mac mini running OS 10.4. If I buy a license can all members of my family use it (though not parallel ;-) or do I have to buy a license for each of them? I couldn't find this information on the support pages. Regards ergo
Hello, according to the license agreement, you can have only one licensed product copy installed on one machine. If you wish to use our software on two Mac computers, you should uninstall the software from the first machine and install it on the other or buy a license for every machine. Best regards, Stacey
Thank you for your message. My question is a little bit different: I will install Parallels Desktop for Mac on one machine with four different users. Can all of them use the same one license? Regards ergo
Hello, as I said above "you can have only one licensed product copy installed on one machine". If you want to make the virtual machine accessible for several users on the same computer please check this article. Best regards, Stacey
O.k., thank you. I have a Windows partition on my harddrive which I use with parallels too. Can all users access this partition with parallels with the same licenses product copy? just to make sure. ;-) Regards ergo
What do you mean by saying 'Windows partition on my harddrive'? Do you have a BootCamp partition? Or you just have a VM in Parallels? Best regards, Stacey
