Parallels Mobile App very slow.

I have installed Parallels Mobile App on my iPad. I find it incredibly slow. Slow to a point that it's just about unusable. I'm on a fast cable connection at both ends. Before switching to an iMac and Parallels, I had a PC. Remote Desktop was very fast and responsive, even on my iPad using WinAdmin. I know it's not the cable connection. My Parallels' resource allocation is 4 of the 8 core i7 processors and 8 of the available 16 GB RAM (Windows 7 64 bit). Am I alone in the Parallels Mobile App slowness? Is there any way to speed it up?
