parallels 11 , windows 7 vm on Mavericks, I need access to the VM virtual drives when the VM is shut down so used parallels mounter ( with Fuse for osx) ssues 1. not persistent accross mac logins. 2. works ok with I relauch mounter , virtual C drive gets loaded , but if I put the desktop icon into mac startup login items preferences , I get a localal host not found 3. more seriously if I have C drive in finder via Mounter, the VM will not start saying it cant access the virtual Hdd. I have to unmount it manually and restart vm then put back disk access via mounter after VM is shutdown, this is NOT GOOD any solutions ta Dave
Hello DaveM3, If Parallels Mounter fails to start, make sure that Parallels Explorer wasn't removed from its default folder: /Library/Parallels.If Parallels Mounter cannot open the file make sure you selected a PVS or HDD file that has, at least, one volume and was created with a Parallels application. Let us know if this helped.
