When I fire up parallels I get the message that says:

"Failed to open the Parallels Networking Module".

I have tried restoring the connection under preferences. Doesn't work.
I am using Leopard 10.5.5. on a MacBook Pro.

the host works perfectly. No network or internet issues.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please type in the terminal (Finder->Applications->Utilities->Terminal) next command
    sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/prl_netbridge.kext/
    and hit enter.
After that all should work ok with network.

I tried that but it asked me for a password and it would let me type anything. Why is that.

P.S. I'm having the same networking issue as that guy.

    hello, macfreak86.
You wont be able to see **** when you type the password as in Windows.
Simply open terminal -> sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/prl_netbridge.kext/-> hit enter -> and type the password and hit enter once again.

    Hi macfreak,
this advise was for one of the first releases of Parallels Desktop 4.0 as workaround.

Please upgrade to the latest PD4.0.
