I've been having trouble with parallels over the last few days as soon as I try and boot up my windows partition. To start, I am running the latest version of Parallels 6 with Windows 7 (64 bit) from a bootcamp partition on a mid-09 MBP. For some reason the startup has become painfully slow taking nearly 10-20 minutes to get to my login screen. I finally let it sit and boot all of the way up, and I finally logged in to find that it is only using 1 core from my processor. I also noticed from my iStat widget that it maxes out the one core while booting leaving the other core untouched. I've tried rebooting Windows through Parallels and bootcamp. I've even gone as far to completely uninstall and reinstall parallels and creating a new VM. I'm not sure what to do now so any help would be greatly appreciated!
