    Hi.

First of all i will explain my setup.

I have a macbook pro running latest version of Leopard and the latest version of Parallels Desktop running Windows XP. I use a Linksys WRT54G Wireless router for my Internet Connection.

    Here is the problem.

I use a program called Soulseek in Windows XP which requires the port it uses to be forwarded for the best possible search results. So what i have been doing is going to my Routers DHCP Client table to see the IP address Windows Paralells is using (192.168.1.101 or 102 or 103 or 104 etc depending on what computers i started up first). I then enter this IP addy into the Routers Port Forwarding page along with the port i want to forward and click ok... theorectically this should then mean the port is forwarded...but when i do the test in Soulseek to see if it is forwarded it always says its still closed.

I have no idea how to solve this problem, i have shared networking selected in Parallels...is this correct ? I also have a problem where sometimes the Windows Paralells IP doesn't even appear in my DHCP Clients list (even after i have clicked "refresh list") so im left guessing as to what the IP of the windows machine might be (i usually just go through a trial and error process of putting in .101, .102, .103 etc but ultimately its pointless as whenever i test the ports in soulseek it still always says they are closed).

There have been a couple of times when i have actually managed to forward the port successfully but i have no idea what i did to make it work and since then i have reinstalled windows etc so i lost whatever settings i had and now i cant get it working anymore.

Any info on how to get it working would REALLY be appreciated, its literally driving me mental at the moment :(
