parallels-tools-amd64.msi missing???

    H, i upgraded from parallels7 to parallels9. VM with Win7 loads with no problem. However, parallels tools installer keep asking for 'parallels-tools-amd64.msi', i pointed the dialog box to the file, but i still get the message that this is not the appropriate file. There is no option to skip and continue installing the tools. I ended up required to restart the VM. Searching the forum i found some instructions (with similar problem, different file) to rollback to P7 restart mac and try again... i follow the instruction with no luck. i tried uninstalling the tools, from windows, but the installer stopped at the same stage. the setup log complaines that previous ver can't be removed:
