I had Windows 7 RTM running under 3846. Automatic upgrader installed 3848 and proceeded to upgrade parallel tools within vm. The installer failed numerous times to complete successfully. I put Windows 7 back to the initial system restore point of the install and proceeded to manually uninstall parallel tools 3846. "Gathers information" and then quits. Looks like I can't get a decent upgrade to parallel tools 3848. Any ideas?
