Over the last few betas, when I try to install the Parallels Tools in Win XP, the installation hangs and never finishes. On the last upgrade to 3120 Rc1 I was able to do the installation in Win XP Safe Mode and I thought it installed successfully. But on reboots I get reminders to Upgrade to Parallels 3120 tools even though the installed version is 3120 in the system tray icon.
I have tried removing the old version of Parallels Tools but the install still hangs.
It MAY be hanging at the installation of the Network Drivers but I am not certain on this.
    Any ideas ?
    Regards
    Dave

PS Parallels is a great product - keep up te good work

    Same problem here

I have the same issue. I have XP running all day long and each day upon startup, I'm prompted that the version of Parallels Tools needs to be updated. I start the process and it runs all day long but does nothing.....
