Parallels Tools Installation Fails With New Update

    I get the following message: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

    Click OK to try again....


    Please see attached screen shot.


    Anyone else experience this/have any suggestions?

    Didn't work....

    That KB article needs to be updated I think, it doesn't remove the application.

    I had to use the Microsoft Software Removal Tool to do it.

    That worked to remove Parallels Tools -- and then I reinstalled it and everything was fine.

    Seems to me like the installer shouldn't function in that way.... the installer fails if it can't find the old version to uninstall.
