    Hi,
I am in the process of upgrading to 4.0 Parallels tools seems to take 1 to 2 hours to install and creates it's own userid.

    My questions are:

Why is it taking so long?
Why does it need it's own user id?
Can I delete the ID when it's done. No password on the account it is a security risk.

    Thanks
    Sculler

Could you please copy all .log files from the c:\windows\temp to some safe please (e.g. to My Documents folder), copy them to Mac, compress with zip and attach to the topic? They can be copied to Mac using either Shared Folders, Network or, while VM is turned off, using Parallels Image Explorer (it is located in the Application --> Parallels).

Sorry I gave up on this and went back to 3.0 after the upgrade to the second XP system caused windows to decide the hardware had changed and invalidated the Windows license.
