Hi, I have a Windows Server 2012 VM running under Parallels - it's been running fine for weeks. Tonight I installed the Parallels update to 10.2.0. I shut the VM down before I installed the update - but after installing it, the Win 2012 Server fails to start - with error "0xc00002e2" - which apparently relates to a corrupt Active Directory Services database. Thinking this might be some kind of disk corruption - I went back to a previous snapshot of the machine, which also fails to start. If I return to a running snapshot of the machine (i.e. when it was up and running) - I can go to that snapshot, and be left with the Win 2102 VM running - but if I then do a restart in it - it shuts down, and won't startup (again citing the above error). All my other VM's (Windows 7 / Windows XP etc.) all run up fine - just the Win Server 2012 now has issues. Any suggestions?
Hello KarlP1, Please follow the steps suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/121578 to transfer Windows server 2012 hard drive from the virtual machine to empty one and check if the issue still persisting. Note: Steps provided in the article are also applicable for Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac.
