5160 has been great for me in Tiger and Leopard. I installed 5540 and now neither XP nor Vista will shut down. Mac Pro with 10.5.

So I uninstalled 5540 and installed 5160. "About Parallels" still reports 5540! Thinking I must have hit the wrong dmg, I repeated the exercise, this time noting that the installer actually says 5160 in the initial screens. Same thing. Did it again with 5162, still reports 5540!

Any ideas how to get back to 5160, or how solve the shut down problem. It hangs at Windows is shutting down, then after a few seconds spinning beach ball forever.

    Thanks for any help

Just tried rebuilding Leopard with Diskwarrior (from a Tiger volume....approved by Alsoft), then uninstalled and re-installed 5540 and now it shuts down OK.

Still mystified why it always said 5540 but not so bothered now.

Eric, had an e mail notification of a post from you asking where 5540 is (but not seeing your post here yet). Anyway it is on Versiontracker.
