Parallels VM won't restart after latest Windows update

I started my VM for the first time in about a week and checked for any Microsoft updates. My VM restarted once after updates and then found further ones and restarted again. When it restarted again it flashed the Windows logo and reverted back to the Parallels logo continuously. It will not move beyond that. I was reading that Microsoft just made available a big Windows 10 update and this could have been the second update that the machine did after the first restart. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Thanks

 

Hi, and did you try to maybe stop or reset your VM after flashig?
Also if you boot your VM in safe mode, does it work?
