Whenever I open Parallels or open my Windows VM, the Parallels Icon pops up and bounces in the Dock, but after maybe 20 seconds it just disappears.
I opened Console and some examples of the error messages:

com.apple.launchd[179] ([0x0-0x110110].com.parallels.desktop.console[3064]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

com.apple.launchd[179] ([0x0-0x112112].com.parallels.desktop.console[3071]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

com.apple.launchd[179] ([0x0-0x113113].com.parallels.desktop.console[3076]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

com.apple.launchd[179] ([0x0-0x114114].com.parallels.desktop.console[3081]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

com.apple.launchd[179] ([0x0-0x118118].com.parallels.desktop.console[3097]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

com.apple.launchd[179] ([0x0-0x119119].com.parallels.desktop.console[3104]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

com.apple.launchd[179] ([0x0-0x11f11f].com.parallels.desktop.console[3132]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

com.apple.launchd[179] ([0x0-0x125125].com.parallels.desktop.console[3166]) Exited abnormally: Bus error

So pretty much it, I'm doing some important work on Windows XP and need Parallels working as soon as possible.
    Help would be much appreciated
    Thanks :)
P.S. I also added some screenshots

Edit: This is Parallels 4.0 for Mac, sorry i forgot that

    Hello,

Please follow the steps below in regards with the issue:

    1. Please uninstall Parallels using the latest 3846 build.

    http://download.parallels.com/deskt...lsDesktop-parallels-en_US-4.0.3846.436204.dmg

But remember that you need to uninstall both application and application settings while uninstalling Parallels Desktop application.

    2. Then install Parallels desktop build 3846. After installing you will be prompted to create a new virtual machine. Cancel that page and go to File -> Open and choose the appropriate .pvm file in Documents/Parallels.

    Also, install Parallels Tools.

Thank you, the uninstall worked perfectly and I restarted my computer. I Installed and at the end of the Install stage (before verification), it said "Please insert "Mimmy"(the name of my home directory) because this disc is needed for installation. Confused because there was no button options, nor any way to make this message go away, I force quit Installer. Then, out of curiosity, I opened my .pvm file, and it seems to be working fine now(except for a pre-existing problem which I will post of in a different section). Thanks very much

    Same Problem

    Hi there,
I'm having the same problem as the above user.
    Only I'm using Parallels 3.
I've downloaded the file from the link in the above comment, however it appears to be for Parallels 4. I imagine that would be a problem for me.
Could you please direct me for Parallels 3.
    Thanks!
