Parallels/windows freezing upon open

    Hi,
    Apologies in advance if i have posted this in the wrong area. i'm new to tech forums. I'm a bookkeeper!

    About a year ago I installed Parallels 14 on my imac in order to use Myob accounting software. Usually it takes a while to boot everything up but once its open i can run the accounting software fine.

    About a month or so ago it just stopped working. Parallels takes ages to open, as does Windows 10, then once open and i have the blue windows screen nothing works. i can't open any applications. I don't understand why it has all just stopped working and i don't know where to start to try to remedy the problem.

    I have a 2017 iMac 3GHz intel core 5 with upgraded Ram (non apple) 16gb. everything else on my computer works.

    Has anyone else had this issue ? I need a solution especially if we go into lockdown again.

    thanks for replying. I am using -
    Parallels Desktop 14 for Mac on Mojave 10.14.6

    Thank you for your reply.
    Did you update your Myob application before the issue reoccurs?
