Hi I'm hoping someone can help me with some trouble I'm having with parallels. I'm running Yosemite on my Mac and I use parallels for windows to do CAD. I recently downloaded some Microsoft applications on the parallel side and I think that might have been too much for space that was allocated. Parallels won't let me open the program because it says I do not have enough disk space and need 4000 Mb. I cleared up a lot of programs and had 5000 Mb when I tried to open parallels. When parallels opened it said that it was configuring but then said I ran out of disk space. Then when I went back to my Mac the disk space that I had freed up disappeared which I don't understand. I would like to open parallels so I can remove those excess applications but I don't know how to.

Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Trevor1,
If you are experiencing the following error message :There's not enough disk space available to start the VM_NAME virtual machine. Free at least XX MB on the hard disk that stores the virtual machine and try again. This error mean you are running out of free space on your Host Mac OS X hard disk.
Please follow the steps suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/10117 to resolve the issue.
