    Hello,

I just wanted to post about my experience after upgrading to Lion 10.7.2. I have Parallels 7 running on two machines, a macbook pro and my iMac, both have windows 7 64 bit VM's.

I upgraded both machines to 10.7.2. within the last days and with the macbook pro everything seems OK.

On the iMac I've lost sound in the VM. Windows seems to think the hardware is disabled. I've tried various "tinkerings" via the Parallels configuration and also directly in control panel in windows (deleting the driver, re-installing, disabling the hardware, etc.) so far I have not been able to restore sound to the VM. More ominously, I have been getting warnings under windows that "windows encountered problems reading from your hard drive."

I'm not sure what the problem is--but there is something definitely wrong with the VM on the iMac since I've upgraded to 10.7.2--prior to this my VM performance (and experience) has been flawless.

I only throw this out to share an experience, and possibly get a solution from someone who has experienced something similar. I use my VM extensively on my iMac, and right now I am very sorry I upgraded to 10.7.2. as everything was running so well before.

    Paul
