I am trying to install Windows XP Pro SP3 in my new Mac using Parallels 4.0 without getting BootCamp involved. All went well until I was asked on what partition I want to do the installation. I picked the C: partition although I didn't know where it came with that amount of memory.

From there it took me to the next screen with options for NTFS or FAT. I need to be able to drag and drop between platforms and FAT is the way I would like to go but I remembered that in BootCamp you need 32 GB exactly for the FAT option and I don't remember being asked for any amount of partition I would like to assert to this VM in Parallels.

I ended up deleting the VM before doing something I might regret, and before proceeding with a new start, I would like to know where or at what point do I decide the size for the partition? Or maybe Parallels does it automatically? Should I just pick FAT and continue?

I am a new Mac user and I'm overwhelmed with all these new programs and terminology, I'm looking forward to have everything set up so I could resume doing my regular work. Thanks in advance for your help.
