My Windows 7 Parallel Desktop crashed. I can't get back in. Either I forgot the password or it was corrupted. I don't have a backup log in disk. If I upgrade to Windows 8 or purchase a new copy, will I be able to log back in and get to my old files. I think an upgrade will still look for the old password but a new copy might save my files while getting around the password issue.
