    Hi,

I had 3 major crashes when I tried to launch in Parallels Windows XP... Now, when I launch Parallels it is asking me for a new installation of an OS. But I need to get back to my former OS Is there a work around. I did already in Parallels Image Tool a defragmentation, but still it does not see the image when I launch Parallels...

    Please help!

    Hi John,
sure I have backup, but it's at home an I'm on client site for the rest of the week. Thanks for the hint. ;)

I don't have the entry 'Show Package Content' in the contextual menu as shown. Also Parallels Explorer couldn't handle the file 'the type of file you selected is not supported'

    Any further ideas? Thanks John

Can you see show package contents now?

It looks like disk is still old format, backup it, and use Parallels Image Tool to convert to new format
