PC Desktop icon Gone

I have PD 9 on a macbook pro, using Windows XP. PD is set to full screen mode.

My pc desktop has an icon for "mac desktop".

My mac desktop has a red icon for "pc desktop".

However, in addition to the red icon (which, when clicked, would simply take me to my pc desktop), there used to be another icon on my mac desktop called "pc desktop" (which, when I clicked on it, would show me all of the files on my pc desktop).

That icon has disappeared, and I need it back!

PLEASE!

Can someone help?

Please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Shut down Windows Virtual Machine but do not Quit Parallels Desktop.
2. Go to the Virtual Machine Configuration menu by following: http://kb.parallels.com/117287
3. Navigate to Options Tab>Sharing>And check the box Access Windows folders from Mac and Mount Virtual disk to to Mac.
4. Start Windows Virtual Machine.
