Booting Windows on my Intel Mac, after upgrading to Beta 5, Windows "found" a new device: Other PCI Bridge.

I let it go find the driver, including Windows Update in the new hardware search, and it couldn't find it.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have advice?

    HardlyNoticable.

I have the same experience booting Win2K on my MBP, but I too am not sure of the smartest way to react to it.

Just ignore it. It will be fixed in next update with Shared Folders driver for Windows 2000 guest.

    PCI Bridge Temp Fix

Although it's not a big annoyance, here's how you can get the "Found New Hardware" wizard to go away in Windows 2000:

    1. Click the "Device Manager" button (-- or right-click My Computer, Manage, Device Manager)
    2. Double-click the "Other PCI Bridge Device" yellow question mark
    3. Choose "Disable Device"

Thanks again, Parallels team, for a really cool product. I'm paying...
