I was wondering if anyone has again tested usb or firewire audio interface support using PD 8 (haven't seen any posts on this topic)? I ask because of the "New Features" description that hint at improvements in this area...I quote "use any external Surround Sound 7.1 USB or FireWire device simultaneously in your Mac and the virtual machine" and "Support for high-quality audio formats (up to 192KHz)" Heck...at this point I would be totally satisfied if usb microphones worked, but I'm not willing to drop another $50 to upgrade if this is not the case.
