this message appears every hour even though I don't have parallels running, and it causes the optical drive in my MacBook Pro to make a noise like it's trying to eject a disc, except there's nothing in the drive. i have the latest parallels desktop 6.0.11994.637263 installed. why is parallels even checking for updates in the background without my permission?
