    I have updated to PD12 and OS X Sierra several weeks ago, but cannot get the Win10 OS login box to appear. Everything is loaded and Win10 boots in full, but cannot get beyond the first screen that appears. I have followed the installation tweeks for these updates that were provided at the time of the latest major Win10 update, but am still stuck -- HELP! Attached are the following screenshots: (1) first screen to appear after boot; (2) second screen to appear when click to login. Screen1-052917.jpg Screen2-052917.jpg

    Hi @ShaunB4, this issue might be occurred because of Windows user profiles corruption. Please try the following steps to resolve the issue:
    1. Right-click the Start button and select Command Prompt (run as Administrator) from the context menu.
    2. Type powershell in Command Prompt and press Enter.
    3.Paste the following text in the Powershell window and press Enter.
    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Thanks, Paul, for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I don't get that far for a Start button to be available. The screen shots provided are from b4 the User Profile login screen appears and the only related button available at this point is the Shut Down button, with no right-click options. Am I missing something?

    Hi @ShaunB4, please follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue:
    1. Press Win + R (to open Run )
    2. Copy paste and press enter to run this program. "C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe". it brings back the language bar and for me it allowed me to type in windows search, start menu and WINDOWS 10 apps again

    Tried #1, but no Run command appears from keyboard shortcut.

    Hi @ShaunB4, please check out the steps mentioned below to fix the issue:
    1. Stop the virtual machine.
    2. Create new empty virtual machine bundle.
    3. Open the new virtual machine's configuration menu > Hardware > Hard Disk 1
    4. Click into the Source field > Choose an image file...
    5. In the opened Finder window locate your main virtual machine, which starts with the black screen. Select its virtual hard disk and click Open.
    6. Close the configuration window and start the new virtual machine.
    7. If the virtual machine boots successfully, you can move the virtual hard disk from the former PVM bundle to the new one.
