Hey, Firstly, I've got to note that a "fresh" install of PD4 onto Leopard (10.5.6) results in my XP SP3 system running *great* - It's fast and much more "reliable" than V3. However, with all the "hype" surrounding the introduction of DirectX 9 (etc) in this release we were hopeful that our application (with newly introduced DX9 support for viewing videos) would work.... Unfortunately, no! We still need to disable 3D acceleration for it to run DXDiag reports all tests (DX7,8 and 9) "passed" and DirectDraw is also OK. But, with 3D acceleration "on" when I run my app system monitor shows almost unlimited "pages/sec" - It's (trying) to swap at ~280 pages/sec - Consensus seems to be this shouldn't exceed ~20 pages/sec! Obviously, this means the video doesn't display worth a damn... It doesn't "crash", it just doesn't display.... Any ideas why this is thrashing like this? BTW, system is original MB pro core duo with 2GB. Parallels has 128MB of video memory and 1236MB of main memory. Comments much appreciated, Thanks, Ian
