I have tried a couple of digital pens all bearing Pegasus tech this week. The pens are the Apcom DigiScribble and IOGear Mobile Digital Scribe. They work fine when MBP is booted using Boot Camp. However, when I use the pens with Parallels running XP, it does draw the current position of the pen. IT's frustrating to guess your location on the screen. Is there anyone else having the same problem?
Thanks for the quick response, unfortunately screen capture doesn't capture the cursor so it's useless to point out the problem. The problem I have is that the USB DigiScribble device in Mouse mode is not passing it's coordinates to // or that // doesn't recognise it as a pointing device. The cursor image gets moved when I use the trackpad, but when I use the pen the cursor image does not get updated to where I place the pen relative to teh screen. I can see where the pen put the cursor when it is hovering over an icon or anything that has a tool tip. The DigiScribble is a Apcom product. It's an OEM partner of Pegasus digital pen like IOGear (Digital Scribe). Pegasus does provide SDK for the pen in C/C++ and .Net. Hope, this helps. It may be best if you pick up a pen at a local Fry's store. It's rather cheap.
