I just upgraded from build 1970 to 3150 and notice quite a significant performance drop. I'm running XP SP2 on a Macbook black with 2gb RAM. The virtual machine has 512mb assigned. Performance was very good under 1970, especially graphics performance. Now it's as though I'm running on a Pentium II.

I've ensured that the tools are up-to-date and they were unistalled prior to upgrade.

Has anyone else noticed this with the latest build? Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

I've tried assigning more memory to the virtual machine but that made no difference.

Performance seems to be a problem with 3150, especially when running in coherence mode. Not using coherence seems to makes things a bit better, but still not as good as 1970. If you want stability and performance I suggest you go back to 1970.

...thats exactly what I have done and performance has gone right back to normal.

    Thanks.
