picup winxp from another partition

    On my iMac with snow leopard + parallels6, I can access win7 that was installed on another partition via bootcamp. Is it possible to have a dual boot SL and XP such that within SL, i can run that XP via parallels?

    I tried on my macbook, parallels found the existing XP but just cannot boot it correctly. The problem is, my XP was not installed through bootcamp.
