Any way to play Total War Rome 2 with parallels, it is running so slow at the moment... I've already moved over 8GB of ram dedicated to parallels and 512mb of video graphics towards it... any other recommendations to speed it up? The graphics of the game are also lowered to fastest performance

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

I'm running 2.66 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 8GB DDR3 1066 Memory, Parallels 8 at the moment. I'm able to load up Total War Rome 2.

Graphics ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB

I'm able to play most games just fine in parralels, even Skyrim without a problem really (which was surprising). However this game, when I attempt to play the campaign, it loads up and then just sits there with the loading screen. I noticed I can click as if I'm clicking on units and I hear sounds as if the map is there but visually I don't see anything. Any ideas?

The Patches for Rome seem to have fixed all my problems, I am running Windows 7 parallels on a Retina MBP with 8G RAM. I then upgraded to Mavericks and now the campaign map is incredible slow but battles seem ok. The map is basically unusable, did you guys ever find a fix?

I am using Parallels 8 so not sure if upgrading would help.

I'll have to try again with the new update and see if it makes any difference. I'll get back to you.

Nope, got newest version of Parallels and downloaded latest update of Rome Total War 2 but the campaign map still shows just a black screen. Even if I try to exit out and go back in by Alt-Tabbing this does not fix the issue.
