I am in tears and sick to my stomach right now. After having waited quite a while after receiving the invitation to install and try the Parallels Desktop 6.0 for Mac beta, I installed it. I followed all the directions, made a backup as suggested during installation and converted my virtual machine. It immediately would not run correctly, so I uninstalled the beta and reinstalled my original version, 3.0. I recopied the virtual machine to the appropriate folder in my documents folder. Now, Parallels opens and runs, but most (but not all!!!) items that were on my desktop are missing, including a ton of documents that I need. Some (but not all!!!!) applications are missing. What the heck happened? I am at a loss on how to get this back. Please somebody help me!!!!
