hi respected parallels team and fellow users.. i have tried every trick mentioned in the posts here... .iso image, .dmg image, putting cd before launching parallels, changing the speed to normal, booting it several times, changing the setting of cd drive from 0:1 to 1:0 even 1:1 and 0:0..... you see what i am saying....any and every option tried and tested..but to no avail.. the cd spins sometimes...but it always shows...."UNABLE TO BOOT FROM HD AND FLOPPY AND CD ROM..... please suggest what to do...i need windows on my system and i've bee trying to figure this out since the last 3-4 days...at this point i am highly frustrated and disappointed! plzzzzzz help!!!!!!
Hello, have you checked your disk on another computer? It may not be bootable at all because of some dirt, tiny scratches or just for no significant reason and it is necessary to test it.
hey thanks for the reply. i don't think there is any problem with the disk. i tried some other windows cd(the 5th one), and i don't know how, but it booted at the first instance. as i write its configuring windows on my mac. just waiting for the parallels experience, and hope it would be amazing. i appreciate your time and effort. regards Shashank
