I am having trouble getting port fowarding to work with OS X host and XP VM Guest. I want to run a server on the XP VM at port 2695.

My configuration is OS X 10.6.5, Parallels 6.0.11828. 8GB Ram, 2GB allocated to XP SP3 VM. Running in shared network mode. IP of OS X is manually set to 192.168.101.95. XP VM currently has a DCHP address of 10.211.55.4. I followed the instructions in this thread http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?p=425658 to make the Parallels adapters visible in OS X system network preferences. The "Parallels Shared #0" shown there has an IP of 10.211.55.2.

In the Parallels Preferences > Advanced > Network > Change Settings > Shared Only > I have added port 2690 (have tried 2695 as well) as the Port on Mac, TCP, VM IP Address of 10.211.55.4 (have tried 10.211.55.2 as well), and Destination port of 2695.

Network router has 2690 (or 2695, tried both) routed to the Mac OS X address of 192.168.101.95. The XP VM is not reachable and I am not sure what to try next.

Thank you for you consideration of this issue.

    It must be 10.211.55.4

Please try to disable firewall in XP. If this doesn't help, then click menu of Parallels Desktop "Help" -> "Report a Problem" and send a problem report. Then post here its id

also, if you need to forward post 2695, then seems that there is no need to do anything with 2690. Just configure 2695 in both Router and Parallels
