Trying to get win98 working with networking and apparently need to install tools from an earlier version of PD. I'm using the current version of PD and when I go to install the tools it says it must be win2k or later. I have tried looking through the forum but anything to do with what I'm looking for is all for old versions of PD and people not knowing how to install the tools, not that they don't install.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to get this working? And yes, I know, win98 is old, I just need to get it working.

    Thanks

Hi @MacKenzieS you may install the previous version of Parallels Desktop using this link, and then copy the Parallels Tools image from it.
Al of parallels Tools image located here:
Finder -> Applications -> Parallels Desktop (right click -> show package contents) -> Contents -> Resources -> Tools.
So you may copy the tools image from the previous version and paste it on the Mac Desktop, but then you can install the newest version of Parallels Desktop and add the tools image to it using this steps:
    1. Open VM configuration -> Hardware tab
    2. Then click on CD/DVD -> Connect to -> choose image and click on the parallels tools image.
    3. Start VM and install previous version of Parallels Tools
