Hi, I'm a programmer using Eclipse Java IDE on my hosted Windows 7 OS but storing my source files on my Z: drive. I accidentally deleted an important project today and consequently lost 3 weeks' worth of *.java source files. Yes -- I know -- I don't have Time Machine. I should. Be that as it may, I spent half a day running Mac OSX Recovery Tool over my Mac HDD to see what it would find. The result was many thousands of deleted files -- but nothing ending with a file type of Java. Either the deleted files scan doesn't recognise that file extension, or Eclipse made a very good job of truly deleting my files. Does anyone have any bright ideas as to other things I might try -- or should I just bite the bullet and get on with remembering what I coded over the past 3 weeks and re-creating it ? Thanks.
