Possible to support more than 4gb memory?

Hi

I read from other post mentioned if allocate more than 4gb memory to Windows 7, PD7 will automatically reverts the memory back to 4gb automatically (using Mac). Is this issue still there or has already been fixed in new version? I am planning on getting 16gb for my Macbook Pro, so if the max memory I can use still only 4gb, I might decide not to upgrade as it doesn't make much different.
