Hi, As of update OSX to 10.15.7 and Parallels to version 16.1.0 OSX emits email notifications, calendar events, reminders etc. even if MacBook is closed and disconnected from power. According to settings it shall not happen: Additionally battery gets drained pretty quickly so something is running despite closed mac book lid.
okay, I think I have found the issue, fortunately not related to Parallels. We need to find out which proces is preventing OSX from sleep. To do it we need to run 'pmset -g' command. In my case it showed: sleep 1 (sleep prevented by coreaudiod) I was turning off apps to catch the one running this process and it turned out that it's VLC player. After shutting down this app I don't see any process listed. I hope that it will help.
