Does someone have a list of pre-built VMs? I built one today with Trixbox (the new Asterisk@home). if anyone is interested, I can post it somewhere for download.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Tribox? I tried a google search and did not seem to get anything that resembles an operating system.

It's spelled Trixbox and it's not an OS... it's a VoIP solution. The 'new Asterisk@home' was a giveaway... I hadn't heard of either before but since he gave two pointers about what it is, it was easy to rule out any other kind of product that's named 'Trixbox'. I think what he was saying was that he made a VM with a complete OS installed, that also has Trixbox set up inside.

I don't think it's very feasible to have pre-built VMs for download unless the OS in question is Linux or one of those FreeDOS stuff. So I'm guessing that gmsmith has it installed in a Linux installation?

Yes, it is indeed a linux install. I used the ISO installer available, but made some minor changes inside.

VMware has a nice set of "appliances" available for download

My next "appliance" will be a Zimbra installation.
