I already have Windows XP installed on my MAC. I cannot find any documentation on how to install PD4.0 with Windows already installed. How do I proceed with PD4.0 installation?

    Thanks

Presumably you've XP installed on your Bootcamp partition? Surely PD4 gives you the option on install to use your Bootcamp partition? (Am still using PD3 myself)

Thanks for the link. I still cannot find the information I want. Maybe I do not understand the basic process going on here.

    1) Without XP on the MAC, would I go through all the steps and create and boot partition similar to what I did with Bootcamp?

    2) With Windows installed am I doing essentially the same as described above with the addition of moving my current (Transporting) Windows partition to the new one?

My major concern is that I do not loss my data or files that reside on my currently Windows XP>
    Thanks,

With Parallels Desktop you will be create virtual Machine which will be based on your Boot Camp partition

Start Parallels Desktop -> New VM -> on the step "create Virtual hard drive" select "Boot Camp"

    Can you please clarify.
