printer not enabled

Search didn't provide any answer for my question. I've just upgraded to parallels build 3846, running xp . I'm running osx 10.5.8. Upon upgrading, I'm having problems with a printer, and hp 9180. When I try to print it doesn't show in printer setup pages in windows. However, if I try to print to the default printer a file appears in the MAC hp driver but won't print.

When I look at the devices window in parallels it shows the printer as a parallel port printer, as default but enabled, while shown as checked, is grayed out.

Where do I go from here?
