    For Problems with Paralells not recognizing Printers or USB devices, Parallels Manual Suggests setting Autoconnect USB Devices option in the Configuration Editor However, my Configuration Editor doesn't have a USB Controller showing in the list of items in the Configuration Editor. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? Is this a problem with XP?

    It makes sense that these are related since when trying to install an HP2015 on the PC Side of my computer, install failed with message that said USB in use (when it wasn't).

    I am running Windows XP on a Mac Book with Mac OS X with Parallels 3.0

    2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM Macintosh HD

    Hello Mddavis01,

    You can add USB Controller to your VM configuration and use printer connecting it as a USB device;

    However I think you'd better try this way to set your printer.

    Best regards,
