Printer works only on suspending VM

When I send a document to my printer (with the printer connected to the VM) nothing happens - until I suspend the VM, when the document prints. This is a great improvement on not being able to print at all, but still a bit irritating. Can anyone suggest how to print without having to suspend the VM? I am using PD version 7.0.15107.

 

I suggest you do disable and enable back the Printer sharing option in Virtual Machine --> Configure --> hardware --> Printer
If it does not help, - disable printer sharing and set up printer using Apple Bonjour
