Hey all, I'd like to know how you guys configured your servers/profiles for printing out of published applications. Currently i'm using 2 terminals servers and have 4 sites. (1 main + 3 remote sites). Currently there are no scripts that indicate a default printer for each user. So basic, for every new user I need to logon to the two terminal server and configure the default printer, cause that's the one being used by the published applications. How do you guys determine the default printer ? Do notice that I'm talking about networkprinters and not local attached ones, so no universal printing here. The networkprinters can be used on the terminal server as local ones with tcp/ip port of as a networkprinter share from the print server. Cheers b.lagace@sunparks.be
If you are using normal tcp/ip printers installed on the terminal server then the default printer is set the same way the the default printer is set in normal RDP desktops... Nixu
I know, just like to know how other people manage them. Do you use group policies to set default printer for everyone ? Do you have a logon script that checks the group you're member of and then installs the correct printer... Cheers Bjorn Lagace
