Printing problem - PDF always left open on the screen

    I am using 2X ApplicationServer Client version 6.0.6000 (51) and Adobe Reader 8 is installed on workstations.
    Published applications are standard MS Office 2003 components (Word, Excel).

    When printing using the universal printer and PDF format, printed document is displayed on the screen within the Adobe Reader. It prints fine, but stays on the screen after printing and requires manual closing.

    This behavious is identical on all workstations. Changing the file format to BMP or EMF can not be considered due to the size of the output file and limited printers memory available.

    Could you please suggest a solution.

    Hello,
    This is a default behavior. PDF stays open and you need to close it manually.

    API Call

    I'm no programmer but isn't there a way to simply access a PDF API call to print out the PDF instead of opening Acrobat or whatever PDF engine?

    So far that is my only complaint about the product. I would strongly suggest that be something that 2x invests time in.
