My printer is HP Color laserject CP1217 which is not supported in Mac OsX. I installed it in windows XP using installation disc and it was connected by USB cable. It worked fine for a month then my whole system crashed. I had to re-install Mac osx using archive and install, then reinstall parallels and finally found that the problem had been the printer. Now everytime I plug it in it gives me a blue screen with Bad Pool Header. I've tried upgrading and downgrading the drivers, but am sure it must be something to do with Parallels. I can't use the virtual parallel port for printing because this printer is not compatible with Mac os x. Can anyone suggest what I could try to stop the printer causing the blue screens? Thanks
