If I print via the "Use Mac Printer" windows "device", a small portion at the bottom of each page doesn't print. If I change the driver of the "use Mac Printer" device, or change the printer in the Windows app's page setup to HP OfficeJet H470 (instead of Mac Printer), the print job fails (on the Mac) with error "pstopdffilter/pstocupsraster failed with err number -31000". Parallels Desktop 6.0.11992 (Revision 625164; December 17, 2010) Mac OS 10.6.5 Guest: Windows 7 Home Premium
Solution I should mention that this is a recent MacBook Pro running 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium. In the Parallels Desktop Devices menu choose (check) USB::Apple Bluetooth USB Host Controller #2 (mine is #2; I suppose this might vary). Insert the Mac OS install DVD while Windows has the optical drive connected. Run Boot Camp\Drivers\Apple\x64\AppleBluetoothInstaller.exe; run ...\AppleBluetoothEnablerInstaller64.exe Open Startup:evices and Printers. Right-click the USB Bluetooth device and choose Troubleshoot. It will want to find and install a driver. Let it (include changing settings, if necessary, to let it look online). Assuming that this process succeeds... Turn on the printer. Click Add a Printer near the top of the Devices and Printers window. Click "Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer." It should then find and list the printer, which you can click and then click Next. In application print setup dialogs choose the specific printer, not "Use Mac Printer". Note: previous to this process I had installed the HP OfficeJet H470 printer driver.
