My AVG virus scanner reports a warning about found malware as shown here:

    "Object name";"HKU\S-1-5-21-842925246-2052111302-682003330-500\Software\Classes\b3d_auto_file"
    "Detection name";"Found Adware.BrilliantDigital"
    "Object type";"registry key"
    "SDK Type";"Core"
    "Result";"Moved to Virus Vault"
    "Action history";"Moved to Virus vault"

It is successfully removed by AVG, but it is back after reboot, or logoff/login.
I tracked it down to either prl_cc or SharedIntApp, from the Parallels toolbox. When I disable these programs with msconfig, the problem is gone. As far as I remember I installed these tools from the installation CD.

how can this be? and how can I repair this?

    Gerrit.
